Description
The BAL700 fluorescent emergency ballast is UL Listed for Damp Locations and is intended for use with most 17W through 215W (2'-8') or two 17W-40W (2'-4') fluorescent lamps including U-bend, HO, VHO, Circline, and energy saving lamps or (1) 13-42W, 4-pin compact fluorescent lamp. Operates in the emergency mode for a minimum of 90 minutes with maximum light output of 700 lumens.
Battery: 3.6V, 14.4Wh, 280mA, and sealed nickel-cadmium, maintenance-free, rechargeable. Life expectancy of 7 to 10 years is normal. Suggested operating temperature is 32°F-131°F. Unit is sealed. Integral battery is not replaceable. Replace entire unit when necessary. Recharging time is 24 hours
120 or 277V, 3.5W, 280mA, 60Hz, solid-state operation with short circuit protection. Charge rate/power on LED indicator light. Periodic testing for three minutes, every thirty days, is recommended to comply with local fire codes. UL listed to UL924, NFPA 101 Life Safety Code and NEC requirements
Retrofit/field installation inside, on top of, or remote from existing fluorescent fixtures.
