No one has a product portfolio for outdoor wall packs quite like RAB. And that’s because they want any application covered. AT PROLIGHTING, we’re pleased to offer a variety of RAB LED wall packs that are packed with features to fit your outdoor lighting needs including building exteriors, outdoor corridors, walkways and stairwells. RAB’s wall packs are the environmentally preferred LED alternative to traditional HID or incandescent fixtures—offering up to 87% in energy savings. Whether it’s light output, durability or lower energy bills that’s important to you, we’re confident we stock a RAB LED wall pack that will get the job done—and last for many years to come.
Wall pack lighting refers to the exterior lighting typically installed on the outdoor walls of commercial spaces. The bright light output and adjustable mount design of LED wall pack fixtures make them an ideal choice for illuminating ground areas for pedestrians and vehicles, and building perimeters for the purpose of security. Thanks to features like high efficiency, LED wall packs are a perfect solution for breezeways, alleyways, back entrances, paths, and any high traffic areas where bright light will need to operate for long periods of time.

RAB Lighting’s LED wall packs are known for being the most efficient, and among the most versatile on the market. RAB offers many LED wall pack models with different functionalities, wattages, and voltages, so that contractors and homeowners alike have solutions available to fit their lighting needs as well as their budget. Unmatched flexibility and quality design are just two of the features of RAB’s LED wall packs. RAB wall packs are a great choice for just about any location—able to provide high power, quality lighting every day. We see these outdoor fixtures used for many commercial settings like shopping centers, office buildings, parking garages and other areas with high vehicle and foot traffic.
Since they are made of die-cast aluminum that is very durable, wall packs can weather humid and extreme climatic conditions, making them an ideal choice for harsh environments. Additional features may include but are not limited to: IP65 rating for complete protection against dust and low-pressure water jet ingress; a DLC Premium listing for extra rebate savings; and a generous manufacturer’s warranty that covers light output, driver performance and paint finish. At 10 hours daily use, RAB LEDs are rated to last 27 years—dramatically reducing maintenance and re-lamping costs.

Traditional commercial LED wall packs offer a wide beam spread because of a more open design and wider lens. The best selling RAB W34 combines the open-face look of traditional wall packs with a cost-efficient design that streamlines the replacement cycle of outdated or inoperable fixtures. You get exactly what you need to get the job done right—at a fantastic price point. Mini LED wall packs are smaller in size and have a narrower beam spread, like RAB’s LED BRISK and ENTRA models.
Adjustable and cutoff wall packs offer a more focused downward beam. These are ideal for locations where light spill needs to be limited. Architectural styles are ideal in cases where the look of the fixture is as important as the powerful illumination that it provides.
Consider a model that’s field adjustable. More and more RAB LED products, including wall packs, are being designed and produced with selectable output and CCT (correlated color temperature) to provide even greater flexibility. Adjusting illumination can allow for installation versatility, and gives you the option to maximize energy savings or light output. CCT tunability allows you to choose from multiple color temperatures with the flick of a switch, giving you the freedom to customize an area’s appearance with a single fixture.
Take the popular WP123 wall packs for example. With three available sizes and seven lumen packages, WPLEDs were designed to replace many of the old HID and fluorescent wall packs—right down to having the same footprint, which allows for a quick, simple and seamless upgrade.
Important Notes When Shopping for Wall Packs
- Look for lumens. Lumens measure the amount of light output (brightness) of the fixture. Note: this is different from watts, which measure the amount of energy.
- Control of spill light is important. Many full cutoff wall pack models are also Dark Sky friendly. Dark Sky friendly models provide the illumination needed to add safety and security, without disturbing nearby wildlife and with the smallest contribution to light pollution possible.
- Many RAB LED wall pack models come standard with an integrated on/off photocell that can automatically control when the fixtures turn on for even greater energy savings.
- At RAB, the future is field adjustable. Consider a wall pack with a switch inside the fixture that allows you to choose between different color temperatures or outputs.
