RAB Lighting, a pioneer in innovative and smart LED lighting solutions, achieved remarkable recognition this year in the prestigious 2024 IES Progress Report. The Illuminating Engineering Society (IES) accepted an impressive 14 RAB products into this year’s report, doubling the number from Acuity Brands, North America’s largest lighting manufacturer, and matching Signify, another industry giant.
Whether designing an intelligent lighting system for your entire home, office space, or simply upgrading a few rooms, the DALS Connect Pro collection offers unparalleled connectivity, flexibility, and ease of use. For tranquility and peace of mind, the DALS Connect Pro collection lets you easily control and manage your lighting remotely with the DALS Connect™ app on your mobile device or through your preferred AI home assistant. Discover the full product line—available at PROLIGHTING—and learn more about the benefits of Connect Pro fixtures in your day-to-day life.
PROLIGHTING carries the full SATCO NUVO lighting catalog, and it covers a part of most projects that fixture brands don’t: the lamps, retrofit sources and components that finish a job. Bulbs get less attention than fixtures, but nobody wraps up an installation without them.
Lutron’s DIY Caséta line has come a long way since it launched in 2014 with a single in-wall dimmer and a plug-in lamp dimmer. It was the first smart lighting product to put professional grade lighting control in reach of anyone with a screwdriver. The range now covers smart dimmers, switches and plugs for indoors and out, and the Caseta Smart Hub is what ties them together. So what does the hub actually do, and when do you need one?
Offering homeowners more flexibility in smart device control, Lutron introduces the new Pico Paddle Wireless Control – now available to order at PROLIGHTING. The Pico Paddle may look like your average paddle switch, but it’s anything but. The Pico Paddle gives you easy on / off wireless control of your Caséta smart switches, Serena smart shades, fans, SONOS speakers, and more. Adjust lights, shades, or audio from anywhere in a space with a Pico Paddle wireless control. Add a second “switch” anywhere you need it without cutting holes or pulling wire. With the Pico Paddle remote, you can match your Diva smart dimmer, Claro smart switch, and other paddle-style controls to create a consistent aesthetic.

Lutron has been one of our top-selling brands ever since we became a distributor back in 2004. We wanted to celebrate our last 15 years of partnership and recognize them as one of our favorite brands, by paying homage to them here. And to further commemorate, we recently dropped by their New York Residential Experience Center, located in the heart of East Midtown’s interior design district, to check out the latest products from the lighting control experts. This area of Manhattan is home to over 100 independent design showrooms, with Lutron nestled in among other luxury interior design and decorative arts brands. Walking in, we’re reminded why Lutron really is the best of the best. The space is beyond gorgeous, and mimics a posh New York City apartment equipped with a variety of Lutron products that incorporate innovative smart-home technology. An immersive experience of shade and lighting control follows; one that makes us want to pack our bags and take up residence.
