Founded in Philadelphia more than 70 years ago by two brothers-in-law, Keystone Technologies originally manufactured ballasts and transformers to meet the need for energy-efficient fluorescent lighting applications, which were growing in popularity. Years later, with the invention of LED technology, Keystone began offering LED drivers, LED modules and light engines, which allowed them to customize complete systems for consumers.
Since then, Keystone Technologies, now a third-generation family-owned company, has established a line of LED lamps – including their DirectDrive (ballast bypass) and SmartDrive (plug and play) technologies – that boasts some of the most innovative and cost-effective lighting in the industry.
The company was recently honored with two prestigious awards from the National Association of Independent Lighting Distributors (NAILD). The FutureFit LED Retrofit Kit was named Best Overall Product and also took first place in the Driver/Ballast category. Pro Lighting offers the easy-to-use kits, which convert your current fixtures into energy-efficient linear LED systems, resulting in a significant savings on energy bills. The Linear LED Troffer FutureFit Kits are rated to provide more than 90,000 hours of light life. The retrofit kits install quickly with the required Keystone driver, LED modules and mounting accessories. Pro Lighting offers kits with either 36w or 44w lamps, with a voltage of 120-277 VAC and three different options of color tone: neutral white, cool white or daylight. Choose from 3500K, 4000K or 5000K color temperatures. These dimmable lights have a beam angle of 120 degrees, with UL listings for both damp location and dry location. They allow the user to control the level of light to save even more on electricity bills. These Keystone kits, with lumens ranging from 3,820 to 5,000, come with a manufacturer's warranty good for 10 years.
