RAB LED Lamps
RAB Lamp Product Line Descriptions
RAB's dedication to producing exceptional, affordable, well-designed and energy-efficient products includes a new line of LED lamps. RAB has a thriving foundation of manufacturing facilities and engineering abilities that secure great product design and lamp quality.
RAB's new lamp lineup includes linear tubes, compacts, HID, A-line, reflectors, PARs, decorative, mini reflectors.
Linear Tubes
RAB offers a wide variety of linear tube replacement choices for any retrofit business or specific application need. Produced with quality in mind, RAB has the right tubes for any customer demand. RAB offers 3 types of linear tube: ballast compatible, ballast bypass, and ballast replacement.
Ballast compatible tubes
Ballast compatible tubes (UL Type A) are the easiest approach to retrofit your current fluorescent fixtures to LED. RAB's ballast compatible tubes work with the most commonly found instant start ballasts. There is no need to rewire the current fixture. Just plug and play and you're done. RAB LED tubes are instant on and have no flicker or hum like some conventional fluorescent tubes. These LED tubes are also mercury-free and easier to recycle.
Ballast Bypass Tubes
Ballast Bypass Tubes eliminate the need for a ballast or driver as they operate directly on 120V -277V line voltage. Bypassing ballasts increase energy effectiveness and lifespan, and also drastically reduces maintenance costs by cutting the need to replace those ballasts later on. Available in single-ended T8, double-ended T8, and single-ended + double ended T8 models, these LED tubes work with shunted or non-shunted sockets, making installation as easy and adaptable as possible in the field.
Ballast Replacement Tubes
Ballast Replacement UL type C tubes work with an external driver, rather than using a built-in drive external ballast as a source of power. Type C tubes are perfect for max efficiency in systems with old fluorescent ballasts with installing Type B linear voltage retrofit lamps. They provide the highest efficiency guarantees, system compatibility (including dimming and controls), and the best overall performance. Type C LED tubes further qualify for extra utility rebates.
Compacts
Compact LEDs are available in both ballast compatible (UL Type A) and ballast -bypass (UL Type B) models, and replace 2-pin and 4-pin compact fluorescent lamps (CFLs). They are available in PL-C/PL-T or PLL/TT5 models.
Ballast compatible compacts
Ballast compatible compacts are simple replacements for compact fluorescent 4-pin lamps with a G24Q base. No changes to the existing ballast wiring needed.
Ballast Bypass compact lamps
Ballast Bypass compact lamps are for CFL 2-pin lamps with a G24D base, quickly bypass the ballast and connect to line voltage. This can also be used in G24Q base applications after bypass.
HID
Replacements for standard metal halide lamps, these lamps are meant to bypass the ballast in the existing fixture to avoid substituting the fixture and saving maintenance costs. Excellent in use in fully enclosed fixtures and IP65 rated, these lamps can be used pretty much anyplace.
Post Tops
Replace 50 - 400W metal halide lamps for post top, low bay, bollard, and high bay applications. Available in both medium and mogul base, in a variety of different color temperatures. Compact designs allow for use in most fixtures unlike older generals of corn cob style lamps.
High Bays
Replace 200 - 400W metal halide lamps in large indoor area applications or shop. These units have a built-in 4kV surge protection and an integrated heat sink that disperses heat quickly without the need for an onboard fan. They also provide 10% uplighting which reduces dark areas on the ceiling known as the "cave effect".
Wall Packs
These products replace 200W and 250W metal halide lamps for wall packs, area lights, and cobra heads. Wall pack lamps are created with LEDs solely on one side so that light output is concentrated and none is lost in backlight. They also have a 350 rotatable base which allows you to direct the light exactly where it's needed.
Shoeboxes
The perfect solution for replacing 250 - 400W metal halide lamps. Usually used in parking lots or just general large areas. These lamps significantly reduce maintenance costs. All are designed with a 350 rotatable base that puts light where you need it, and an IP65 rating guards against ingress of water and dust.
A-line bulbs
A-line bulbs replace conventional halogen and incandescent bulbs. RAB offers a variety of Aline bulbs for use in any commercial or residential application. These omnidirectional bulbs come in several wattages, CCTs, bases, and lifespans, to suit all needs.
Non-Dimmable
Replace conventional halogen and incandescent bulbs. Non-dimmable and dimmable LED available with a 15,000-hour lifespan. Produces 80 CRI, ideal for general lighting applications.
Premium Dimmable A-line Bulbs
Premium replacements for conventional halogen and incandescent bulbs. 230 beam spread produces and omnidirectional light output. Dimmable LED with a 25,000-hour lifespan. 90 CRI produces rich and vibrant colors.
Reflectors
Reflectors replace incandescent and Halogen BR and R reflector lamps. They have a wide 120° beam angle that's well suited for general lighting applications. Both 80 and 90 CRI models are available.
Premium Dimmable Reflectors
Replacement for BR lamps with a wide light dispersion. Dimmable LED with a 25,000-hour lifespan. Premium models offer 90 CRI. These products are great for recessed or track lighting, especially for retail or showroom applications.
PARs
Serving as replacements for halogen PAR20, PAR30, and PAR38 directional lamps, these PARs have lifespans from 25,000 to 40,000 hours, perfect for fixtures used many hours per day.
Small Reflectors
These serve as replacements for small-diameter halogen reflectors and come in a variety of wattages, beam angles, and CCTs. They carry a 25,000-hour lifespan and are available in either 80 CRI or 90 CRI (produce rich and vibrant colors; perfect for retail lighting applications).
Decorative
Decorative lamps are designed to be seen and look good both on and off. They are available in classic designs with either exposed filaments or a frosted finish, that mirror the conventional lamps they replace.
Premium Clear and Frosted Filament
Available in a classic candle, globe, A and Edison shapes, these decorative lamps are offered in both clear and frosted models.
